Here’s a shot I always loved as a child. Its from the muppet show when floyd plays this song on the stairs. I still to this day think its the best version of this song I’ve ever heard.

LOL! I like the Muppets cover of that song, but nope to me, there is no better version than the one that created it, George Harrison was sadly the overlooked talent within The Beatles composers, I like them all, John and Paul will never be topped as a duo of composers but George was as great musically, had a great sense of humour, very British and will forever be missed. And this song wouldn’t be quite the samw without Clapton’s imprints either.
Thank you for sharing. I’ve recently come to appreciate The Old School Muppets and have been a fan of The Beatles—this to me is like Reeces Pieces..chocolate and peanutbutter. PERFECT MAAN!
If this is the best rendetion you have ever heard, you need to spend the never 45 minuits of your life looking at much better rendetions right here on your very own YouTube!
It was pretty good though, I would have loved to have seen that on seseme street when I was a kid.
Jerry Nelson was great. All the Muppet performers were. They were more than just puppeteers. They were great actors and singers. I venture to say that they were better than most people who just sing or act.
Actually I think Its funnier now that im older than I did when I was a kid. Its cheesy humor but I think I appreciate it more now. And that other guy cares way too much about the technicalities. Im a guitar player AND a puppet builder, and I can let it slide.
Some of the Muppets were made took like real artist. If you notice in the muppet show, Floyd is wearing a Sgt Pepper lonely heart club band jacket and is full name is Sgt Floyd Pepper and he looks like George Harrison then!
Some of the puppets were made to look like a real person, if you look Floyd is wearing a SGT. Pepper coat like the Beatles and he looks like George then. Love the rendtion too!!
