He trashed business quite a bit, at the local level. When he got promoted to the National Stage, he found that businesses, and competition at that level almost always weeded out the bad business men
they don’t get that big screwing their customers, and then he move toward more Free Market / Libertarian ideas
so he has a pretty interesting perspective over all. search youtube for his 20/20 shows, most are good
Lady, the rule of law is not the same thing as regulation. The market presupposes a legal framework in which property rights are respected and peace & order are maintained. Obviously we all want that. But regulation, as libertarians use the term, refers to laws that restrict voluntary cooperation and ostensibly protect the consumer or the environment, but in reality protect only entrenched interests to the detriment of all peaceful people–consumers and entrepreneurs alike.
No. he did another one. It clearly blew Obamacare out of the water. He described canada and britian healthcare, we suspect it was pulled for a reason. He worked for ABC when he did the reporting. However he went to Fox soon after it. SUSPICOUS!

yeah, hes pretty smart.
He was an investigative consumer reporter

@ndes0532 No kidding. Isn’t that the definition of government? I like Stossel a lot, but I admit he could be better.

He’s a pretty smart guy, but he is very minimalist in his reporting style so he can appeal to more people.
Search for his stuff on here. He worked for 20/20 airing libertarian pieces all the time–some really good ones too.
